“Innovative Economy 2007-2013” Operational Program (IE OP) is one of the programs implementing the National Cohesion Strategy. The program is implemented on the basis of the European Union allocations from the ERDF in conjunction with the national allocations. The total allocations for the implementation of the Program amount to EUR 8,241.06 million, including allocation out of the EU ERDF – EUR 7,004.90 million, national – EUR 1,236.16 million.

The strategic objective of the program is to support broadly understood innovation - scientific, technical, organizational as well as financial or commercial.

The beneficiaries of aid granted within the framework of IE OP will be enterprises, business support institutions, and research and development institutions.

Within the framework of IE OP, activities in the area of technological, product, service, application, process and business innovation will be supported; they contribute either directly or indirectly to the establishment and development of innovative enterprises.

Within the framework of the program the following priorities will be pursued:

  • R&D infrastructure
  • Capital for innovation
  • Investment in innovative enterprises
  • Innovation diffusion
  • Polish economy on the international market
  • Computerization of administration for enterprises
  • Technical assistance
